FT Career Nanny Needed in Lake View for Two Children
FT Nanny Manager needed in Lake View for two children
Two children, a preschooler and a toddler. Older child will be attending preschool part time.
Guaranteed hours are as followed. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, hours are 6:45 am - 5:30 pm. Wednesday hours are 7:20 am - 8:00 pm. Family does require limited flexibility and will occasionally need the nanny to come early or stay late.
$1100 - $1300/week, along with paid holidays, vacation and sick/personal days.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. Family provides a car for caregivers use.
One parent works from home in a separate office. Nanny must be comfortable with this arrangement.
Nanny should be open to traveling with the family, internationally and domestically.
Nanny should be fluent in both written and spoken English, extensive experience caring for children, particularly toddlers. Nanny must be comfortable and have verifiable experience with multiples. Nanny should be reliable; honest; safety conscious; flexible; nurturing; high-energy; and loving. Nanny should be able to be active with children and should encourage outdoor play (weather permitting).
Nanny should be creative, willing to plan and implement educational activities. Nanny should also have knowledge of child development.
Nanny should have an open mind and be a liberal and independent thinker, helping the children to expand their worldview. Nanny should show the children by example the importance of kindness, integrity, equality, inclusion, and humanity.
Responsibilities include full charge of the children, including feeding, changing, bathing, putting child down for naps, going for walks and activities, etc. Children's laundry and bedding. Driving children to and from activities/preschool.
Other responsibilities include: grocery shopping, light meal prep, loading and unloading the dishwasher; keeping kitchen and common areas clean and picked up, watering plants, receiving packages. Nanny should be able to plan, schedule, and multitask, must be able to plan ahead and anticipate children's and household's needs.
