PT Nanny Needed for Lakeview Family- 30hr/week Nanny -Flexible Days
Part Time to Full Time
PT Nanny Needed for two children in Lake View
30 Hours/week guaranteed. The schedule will vary, applicant must be flexible. Occasional evenings/weekends would be nice.
Competitive compensation; $20-$25/hour; paid holidays and vacation.
Preschooler and toddler. Preschooler attends school full time.
This position does not require a driver. Nanny should be comfortable using public transportation.
Family has cats. No extraordinary care of the cats is required.
One parent works in the home in a separate office, nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement,
Nanny should be able to create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children. A degree in early childhood development or related field a plus, but not required. Nanny should have verifiable experience with children from toddler age and up. Knowledge of a second language preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities include meals and snacks; changing; naps; picking the preschooler up from school; taking children on outings, e.g. the park, the zoo, and other neighborhood activities, playing with the children, etc. Nanny should have experience or knowledge of fun, yet educational activities for children, both indoor activities, as well as out of doors.
Additional responsibilities include washing dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; sweeping/vacuuming up any messes, as needed. Keeping children's rooms and common areas of the household tidy and picked up. Children's laundry and bedding.
