FT Nanny Needed for Two Children in Lincoln Park, to begin as soon as possible.
Two children, one in school full time and a toddler.
Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; occasional date nights and weekend sitting for special occasions. Nanny will also be asked to travel with family on occasion, and stay with the children when parents go out of town.
$65,000-$70,000/year; holidays and vacation; health insurance stipend.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. Ideal applicant will provide a vehicle for on the job use, but a car can be provided for the right applicant. Parking is available.
A Flu Vaccine is a requirement of the position.
Four year old is in school from 8 am - 12 pm, nanny will assist with pickups throughout the week.
One parent does work from home on occasion. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
Family has a large, friendly dog. Nanny should like dogs and not have allergies. Nanny will be asked to walk and feed the dog on occasion.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, preferably in early childhood education/development; child psychology; nursing, or other related field.
Responsibilities include all care of the children: feeding meals and snacks; packing lunch for school; planning activities; managing schedule; providing information/researching upcoming trips; changing out clothing for appropriate season; giving away clothing or toys as needed; transporting children to and from school and activities, etc.
Additional responsibilities include washing dishes as needed; loading and unloading dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; sweeping/vacuuming floor as needed; children's laundry and bedding; picking up children's rooms; keeping toys and clothing organized; keeping common areas of the house picked up; feeding and walking the family dog; traveling with family as needed.
