$17-$20/hour; four weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, and benefits
Care is for one three month old infant.
Driving is nice, but not required. If nanny drives, she should have a safe driving record. Parking will need to be arranged for the nanny's car, if needed.
She should be prompt; dependable; safety conscious; reliable; interested in reading and singing to the baby; helping the baby achieve developmental milestones by fun, yet educational, activities. The safety and well being of the child should be the utmost concern.
Responsibilities include all care of the baby: feeding; changing; diapering; bathing, if necessary; tummy time; reading to the child; singing to the child, etc. As child grows, nanny's responsibilities will change, and it it hoped that the nanny will be able to transition to these new responsibilities.
Additionally, nanny should wash bottles and dishes; load and unload the dishwasher; wipe down kitchen surfaces; sweep/vacuum floors if needed. During the child's nap time, it would be appreciated if nanny could help with simple meal preparation; make beds; help with laundry; and light housework. Also, nanny should help pick up child's things; keep child's room tidy; and keep common areas of the house picked up.
