Part Time to Full Time
FT Nanny Needed for Baby in Gold Coast area, to begin mid September
Monday through Friday, 50 hours per week guaranteed. Some weeks nanny will only be required to work as few as 15 hours, but will be paid for guarantee hours. Occasional evenings and weekends. Flexibility is essential.
$700-$770/week guaranteed. Paid vacation, sick/personal days, and holidays.
Driving is not required.
Family has a medium size, friendly dog. Dog will need to be walked once per day. Nanny should like animals and not have allergies, nor should anyone in his/her family have allergies.
One parent works from home occasionally.
The ideal candidate should be friendly, patient, with a strong, verifiable background caring for infants on up. Ideally, nanny should have a degree in early childhood development; education; child psychology; nursing, etc. Reliable, trustworthy; patient; proactive. Active and able to keep up with the demands of a busy household. Proficient in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities include all care for baby: feeding; changing; bathing, as needed; naps; tummy time. Reading to the child; singing to the child. Weather permitting, taking the child for walks in the neighborhood, together with the dog. As child grows, the scope of the nanny's responsibilities will change: e.g. helping to introduce solids; potty training, etc. Nanny should have experience and be able to handle the changing responsibilities.
Additional responsibilities include lighthouse keeping related to the child.
