PT 3 day a week Nanny Needed for Baby in River Forest, to begin in early September
Position is three days per week, nanny can choose which three days work best as long as they fall within Monday-Thursday. All three days are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
$15-$20/hr; paid holidays and vacation.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. Family will provide car for on the job use. One parent works from home in a separate office, and is on the phone frequently. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement, and be accommodating of the needs of the parent.
Nanny should have long term, verifiable experience dealing with infants on up. Honest; punctual; reliable. Professional. Kind, gentle and nurturing. CPR certification required (or willing to take the necessary classes necessary to obtain certification). Tdap vaccine is a requirement of this position. Proactive; hard working.
Responsibilities include all care of the baby: feeding; changing; naps; bathing, if needed. Tummy time; reading to the child; singing to the child. Keeping the child on a schedule.
Additional responsibilities include washing bottles and dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; sweeping/vacuuming floors, as needed. Child's laundry and bedding. Keeping toys clean and picked up. Keeping child's room picked up. Keeping common areas of the household tidy.
