PT After School Nanny Needed for Three School Age Children in Glenview, to begin in early September
Three children, all in elementary school, with activities
20-25 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 2:30-6:30 or 7:00 p.m. The ability to sit on the weekends for additional compensation is desirable, but not required.
$15-$20/hour; paid holidays and vacation.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. Nanny should be able to supply a clean, safe, serviceable vehicle with proof of insurance and room for three children/car seats. Parking is available for the nanny's car.
Family anticipates getting a dog shortly. Nanny should like dogs and not have allergies.
Nanny should have verifiable long term references. Looking for someone long term who can be part of the family. Some college desirable, but not required.
Prompt; dependable; trustworthy; reliable. Active and able to keep up with the demands of a busy household. Enjoys her job and interested in interacting with all children. Fun, warm, nurturing. Enjoy playing outside with the children. Experience and ideas on fun, yet educational activities, both indoors and out of doors. The ability to help with homework. Excellent written and spoken English. Proactive.
Responsibilities include picking up the children from school; driving them to activities and play dates. Making a snack; helping with homework. Possibly starting preparations for dinner.
Additional responsibilities include washing dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; sweeping/vacuuming up if needed. Children's laundry and bedding. Helping to keep children's rooms and common areas of the house tidy and picked up.
