FT Nanny Share for Two Infants on West Side of Chicago, to begin in November
FT Nanny and/or Nanny Share Needed for Two Infants on West Side of Chicago, to begin in November
Monday through Friday, 7:15 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; occasional evenings might be needed.
$1230-$1340/week; paid holidays and vacation.
Share will take place in the same home.
One parent will be working from home one day a week. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
Do not require a driver. However, if nanny does drive, nanny should have a clean and safe driving record.
The ideal candidate is aware, active, responsible, truthful, dependable, and compassionate. Nanny should have verifiable long term experience with infants on up, as well as nanny share experience. Excellent written and spoken English; must be able to communicate well with parents. Ideally, someone who speaks Spanish is a plus but not a requirement. Knowledgeable about developmental milestones, as well as activities to encourage optimal development.
Responsibilities include all care of the children: feeding; bathing; naps; tummy time. Reading to the children; singing to the children. Having a knowledge of age appropriate activities (both indoors and outdoors) to encourage optimal development. As children grow, nanny will take the children to activities and prearranged play dates.
Additional responsibilities include washing bottles and dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; sweeping/vacuuming up any messes, if needed. Children's laundry, including bedding. Keeping children's room and toys clean and tidy. Keeping common areas of the house tidy and picked up.
