FT Nanny Needed for Two Children in Dearborn Park, to begin ASAP
Two children, a toddler and an infant
Monday through Friday, 7:45 am - 5:45 pm. An occasional date night would be desired, but not required.
$950-$1150/week; paid holidays and vacation. There is the possibility of traveling with the family, but it is not required
Driving is a requirement of this position. Nanny should have a safe driving record. A car is provided for on the job use. Parking is available for nanny's car.
Verifiable experience, long term, with infants on up. Attentive and always present with the children; not afraid to get down on the floor with them and play. Reliable; prompt; dependable; honest. Nanny should be looking for a long term position with a loving family. Nanny should have a wealth of ideas for fun, yet educational, activities to encourage optimal development.
Responsibilities include all care of the children: feeding; changing; naps; tummy time. Reading to the children; singing to the children. Taking children on walks in the area, weather permitting.
Additional responsibilities include washing dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; sweeping/vacuuming up any messes, as needed. Children's laundry and bedding. Keeping children's rooms tidy and picked up, as well as common areas of the house. Light errands, if possible.
