Two children, both in elementary school, with activities
45-52.5 hours/week; minimum of 45 hours guaranteed. Schedule is Monday through Friday, hours generally fall between 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Need flexibility as parents may have early meetings or may be running late.
$18-$22/hour, plus time and a half for any hours after 40 hours; paid holidays and vacation.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. Nanny should have a clean, safe, serviceable vehicle with proof of insurance. Parking is available for the nanny's car.
Occasionally parents may work from home. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
Family has a medium size hypoallergenic dog. Nanny should like dogs and not have allergies. Nanny would be responsible for walking and playing with dog, as well as keeping track of food and water for the dog.
Nanny should have extensive verifiable experience working with children as well as household responsibilities. Prompt; dependable; responsible. Nanny should be active and able to keep up with the demands of a busy household. Nanny will be partnering with the parents as a team, and should be respectful of the needs and routines of the household.
Responsibilities include all care of the children: feeding, including preparing lunches and snacks; driving to and from school and activities; interacting with the children when they are off from school; providing fun, yet educational activities, both indoors and out.
Additional responsibilities include washing dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; laundry for the children, towels and bedding for the family light ironing. Grocery shopping for the family, meal planning, dinner prep for basic meals, errands. Nanny should be proactive and willing to aid the family as much as possible.
