PT - FT Mommy's Helper Needed for Two Children in Winnetka, ideally to begin in early February - Job Code 1063
Two children: a baby and a preschooler who attends school two mornings/week.
30 hours/week guaranteed. Family is willing to guarantee up to 40 hrs/week for the ideal candidate. Family can offer some flexibility with schedule, hours can be between 3-5 days that fall within Monday-Friday depending on needs of applicant.
$17-$25/hour; paid holidays, vacation, and PTO/sick days.
Family does not require the candidate drives. However, if nanny does drive, nanny should have a clean driving record. Parking is available. Family can provide a car for nanny to use while on the job.
Nanny would be working as a team with the mother. The ability and willingness to work together with the mother is essential. Mother's helper must be comfortable with both childcare along with household management.
The ideal candidate has experience working with infants on up. Reliable, loving, honest, responsible, proactive, organized. Active and able to keep up with the demands of a busy family. Excellent written and spoken English. Detail oriented with strong listening skills.
Responsibilities include taking care of the children (or one child, if the mother is with the other child); family laundry; help with family meal prep, washing dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; sweeping/vacuuming up any spills, etc.; keeping children's rooms tidy and picked up, as well as common areas of the house. Running errands, taking out trash. Nanny should focus on what needs to be done, and do it without reminders.
