PT-FT Nanny Manager Needed for Lovely Family in Lake View, to begin immediately - Job Code 1064
One toddler, in daycare full time.
30-40 hrs/week. Schedule is Monday through Friday. Family needs flexibility when child is off or stays home from daycare.
$18-$20/hour, plus paid holidays and vacation.
Family does not require a driver. Should nanny drive, nanny should have a safe driving record. Parking may be able to be provided for ideal applicant.
Family has cats. Nanny should like cats and willing to keep food/water full along with caring for the litter box.
Individual should have experience with infants and up. Nanny should speak fluent English; ideal for individual to speak second language. The individual should be communicative, warm, responsible, and organized. Nanny should always show good judgement and be able to remain calm in stressful situations.
Responsibilities include all care of the child: feeding; Walking child to and from school and activities; interacting with the child when off from school; providing fun, yet educational activities, both indoors and out.
Additional responsibilities include washing dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; laundry for the family. Creating grocery lists along with grocery shopping for the family, dinner prep for basic meals for the family, errands (including dry cleaning). Nanny should be proactive and willing to aid the family as much as possible.
Family lives in second story walk up, caregiver must feel comfortable transporting stroller up and down the stairs.
