FT Nanny Needed for Toddler and Baby expected in July in Lakeview, to begin Mid-February/March - Job Code 1056
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. If nanny desires, family would welcome her help during date nights, etc.
The position will begin at $750-$800/week, plus paid holidays and vacation. The compensation will increase to $850-$900/week once the family welcomes their second child, expected in July.
Driving is not a requirement of the position at this time but a valid driver’s license and clean driving record is encouraged.
Start date is flexible, ideally no later than April 1st, but for the right applicant can start as early as February 15th.
Family is looking for long term nanny.
Nanny should have verifiable experience dealing with both infants and toddlers; be active and energetic; able to keep up with the demands of an active toddler. Nanny should be reliable; dependable; prompt and enthusiastic. Nanny should be able to provide fun, educational activities for the children. Nanny should be engaged with the child, and actively play and interact with the child. Nanny should be able to take child to activities, classes, school etc.
Responsibilities include all care of the child: feeding; changing; taking to classes and activities; playing with them; arts and crafts; singing to him; reading with him. As child grows, nanny will help parents potty train the child.
Additional responsibilities include preparing the child's meals; clean up the kitchen, e.g. wash dishes, etc; wipe down kitchen surfaces; sweep floors. Also, nanny should do child's laundry and sheets; keep his room and common areas of the house tidy and picked up.
