FT Nanny Manager Needed for Two School Age Children, to begin as soon as possible - Job Code 1069
Two children in elementary school with activities
$55k-$60k plus a contribution towards health insurance, paid vacation, holidays, and PTO/sick days.
Flexibility needed Monday- Friday. 50 hrs/week/guaranteed, though family will rarely need nanny manager for all 50 hours/week. Most weeks it will be less than 40 hours per week. Occasionally weekends and overnights; compensation extra.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. The ideal candidate should have a safe, serviceable vehicle with proof of insurance. Family would consider providing car for ideal candidate. Parking is available for the nanny's car.
The ideal candidate has some background in education, but this is not a requirement. Dependable; loyal; prompt. Nanny should be able to establish a relationship with both children, and be able to maintain the schedule of a busy family. Active and able to keep up with the demands of the position. Proactive and eager to help a loving family.
Primary focus is on the children: dropping off and picking up from school and activities; helping with homework; managing their schedules: signing up for activities, camps, programs, etc. Keeping track of family calendar and being able to anticipate what family will need. School lunches. Supplies for school projects and activities.
Additional responsibilities are household management: errands, grocery shopping, arranging for cleaning and other household maintenance. Children's Laundry. Light housekeeping: washing dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher; keeping kitchen straightened up. Helping to keep children's rooms and common areas of the house tidy and picked up.
