FT Nanny Needed for Two Children in Roscoe Village, to begin as soon as possible, Job Code 1071
Two children, ages 2 and 4. Both attend morning programs.
Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
$20 to $25/hour plus great benefits: plus paid vacation; sick/PTO days and paid holidays.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record.
Car and parking may be provided for ideal applicant.
The ideal candidate has verifiable reference with toddlers on up, and be interested in a long term position with a loving family. Prompt; dependable; reliable; honest. Proactive and able to take the initiative. Should be able to plan and organize activities for the children, both inside and out of doors. Should enjoy reading to the children; taking them for walks to child friendly activities in the area, library, etc.
Responsibilities include picking up the children after their morning programs; drive them home; provide meals and snacks.
Additional responsibilities minimal light housekeeping e.g. loading and unloading the dishwasher; wiping down kitchen surfaces; children's laundry and bedding. Should keep children's rooms, belongings, and common areas of the house, pertaining the the children, tidy and picked up.
