FT Nanny Needed for Twins in Streeterville, to begin in early April JC1082
Infant Twins, born in January, 12018
Monday through Friday, preferably 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. 40 hours per week (Wed hours can be flexible for based on needs of the applicant).
$18-$20/hour take home, paid vacation, holidays and sick / personal days.
Location is central, just off Michigan Ave. and most easily accessed by public transit. Parking may be available for ideal applicant.
One parent works from home but has a separate work space outside of the home (on separate floor of condo building).
Family has two cats. Nanny should like cats, and not have allergies. No care is required of the cats.
The ideal candidate has verifiable long term experience with infants on up, experience with multiples or as a nanny share. Prompt; dependable; reliable; honest. Active and able to keep up with an active family. Proactive with an eye for detail. Ability to multi task. Nanny should have a knowledge of fun, yet educational activities for both indoors and outside. The ability to grow as the children grow older.
Responsibilities include all newborn care: feeding; diapering; dressing; preparing bottles; naps. Reading to the children; singing to the children. Tummy time. Actively engaging with babies. Nanny should take children for walks, and as they grow older, to child friendly activities in the area.
Additional responsibilities include light housekeeping pertaining to care of the babies: bottles and dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher. Wiping down kitchen surfaces. Laundry and bedding for babies. Keeping children's rooms and common areas of the house tidy.
