FT Nanny Share for Two Babies on Near South Side, to begin immediately
Care for two infants around 6/7 months old
$22 to $25/hour, plus great benefits (2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays and 5 paid sick/personal days)
35 hours in 4 days: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m. Occasional Friday hours are availiable but not required.
Driving is not required. If nanny drives, she should have a safe driving record. Parking is available for the nanny's car.
Family has one cat.
The ideal candidate is mature with verifiable long term experience, including multiples or nanny share.
Prompt, dependable, reliable. Active and able to keep up with the demands of two busy families.
Should be able to assist in developing and maintaining schedules.
Good written and spoken English.
Responsibilities include all care of the babies: feeding; changing; naps; reading to the children; singing to the children; tummy time.
Weather permitting, the nanny should take the children outside for walks and other child friendly activities in the area. Nanny should be able to adapt as the children grow and responsibilities change.
Additional responsibilities include light housekeeping pertaining to children (bottles, laundry/ bedding, etc.) Keeping children's toys and belongings picked up. Keeping common areas of the house tidy and picked up.
