FT Nanny Needed for One Baby in Lincoln Park, to begin as soon as possible - JC 1097
FT care for one infant.
Monday through Friday, 50 hour per week, (start time and end time can be somewhat flexible depending on the needs of the ideal applicant, e.g. 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Additional evening and weekend hours are available, but not required
$800.00 to $1100.00 per week plus paid vacation, holidays and sick/personal days.
Nanny should drive and have a safe driving record. If needed, family will provide a car for nanny's use.
The ideal candidate has previous verifiable experience over a period of time, and is looking for a long term position with a loving family. Nanny should have experience with infants on up, and be willing to grow with the family. Prompt; dependable; reliable. Proactive, with an eye for detail. Loving and caring; engaged with the child. Previous experience with sleep training. Energetic and able to keep up with the demands of a busy family. Should have a knowledge of fun and educational activities for both indoors and outside, starting with infancy and continuing through the years.
Responsibilities include all care of the baby: feeding; changing; naps; tummy time. Reading to the baby; singing to the baby. Bathing, if needed. Walks around the neighborhood and to child friendly activities, having notified the parents. As baby grows, nanny should be able to help introduce solids; help with encouraging developmental milestones, etc.
Additional responsibilities include washing bottles and dishes; loading and unloading the dishwasher and wiping down kitchen surfaces. Child's laundry and bedding. Keeping child's toys and belongings clean and organized. Keeping child's room, play areas and common areas of the house tidy and picked up.
