Job Description: Bucktown family seeking an experienced Nanny who will be interactive and engaged with their child! Looking for a patient, calm, and loving Nanny to join their family of three. Start as soon as possible.

Schedule: Guaranteed 36 hours a week. Scheduled hours will be Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Compensation: $25-$30/hour + vacation, holidays, sick days.

Job Details and Responsibilities:

One infant—6-months-old.
Primary responsibilities are the day-to-day care of the child including playtime, bottle and meal prep, changing diapers, monitoring naps, and taking the child on walks and activities.
Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing the child’s areas, child’s laundry, washing child’s dishes (also loading/unloading the dishwasher), and keeping track of the child’s needs (diapers, wipes, snacks, etc.).
Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding child development and milestones (moving to solid foods, potty training, motor skills, etc.). Should be able to provide developmentally appropriate activities.
One parent works from home a few days a week. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.

Qualifications:

Extensive, verifiable Nannying experience with infants and toddlers.
Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with a family.
Nanny should be warm, caring, and patient. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the children and the family.
Nanny should be a self-starter and organized. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and anticipate family's needs.
Reliable, punctual, and communicative. Is open to feedback and comfortable giving it as well.
Flu, COVID, and TDAP vaccines required.
