Job Description: Wilmette family seeking an experienced Nanny Manager! Looking for an organized and dependable candidate. Start as soon as possible.
Schedule: Guaranteed 30-35 hours a week. Scheduled hours will be Monday-Friday, 12:00pm/12:30pm-7:00pm/7:30pm
Compensation: $28-$32/hour + vacation, holidays, sick days.

Job Details and Responsibilities:
- Three children: two 16-year-olds and an 11-year-old. All attend different schools and after-school activities.
- The 16-year-olds have developmental delays and sometimes require assistance and additional supervision more typical for a younger child.
- Primary responsibilities are picking up children from school in the afternoon, taking them to their after-school activities (sports, tutoring, etc.), making dinner, and running errands/grocery shopping.
- Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing the children’s areas, kid laundry, washing children’s dishes (also loading/unloading the dishwasher), and keeping track of the children’s needs.
- One parent works from home often. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
- The family has two cats. No care is required but Nanny Manager should like cats and not be allergic.
Qualifications:
- Extensive, verifiable Nanny Managing experience. Should also have worked with older children (preteen and older).
- Experience in a special education setting or other work experience working with children with developmental or intellectual delays (volunteer work, teaching experience, past Nannying experience, etc.).
- Nanny Manager is looking for a long-term commitment with a family.
- Nanny Manager should be warm, caring, and patient. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the children and the family.
- Nanny Manager should be a self-starter and organized. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and anticipate family's needs.
- Reliable, punctual, and communicative. Is open to feedback and comfortable giving it as well.
- Nanny Manager should have a safe driving record. Will need to provide their own vehicle.
