A warm and active family in Chicago's Buena Park neighborhood is seeking a reliable, flexible, and engaging part-time nanny to care for their toddler and infant. The family is looking for a nanny who enjoys working with young children, loves being outdoors, and can confidently manage the needs of two young children at different developmental stages.
The ideal candidate is calm, adaptable, and able to adjust as family schedules change. This position is perfect for a nanny who enjoys building strong relationships with families and supporting children's growth and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Schedule
Core hours include:
- Wednesday & Thursday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
- $32–$35/hour
- 27 guaranteed hours
- PTO offered
- Use of family vehicle while working
- Parking available for nanny's personal vehicle
- Caring for an infant and toddler
- Daycare pick-up and drop-off (both children are enrolled in full-day daycare)
- Supporting developmental milestones
- Potty-training support
- Planning age-appropriate activities and play
- Outdoor play and outings
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- Children's laundry
- Assisting with bedtime routines and getting children ready for the day
- Maintaining children's spaces and belongings
- Infant care, including feeding, naps, and daily routines
- Occasional pet care as needed
- Open to domestic and international travel with the family
- Prior infant and toddler experience required
- CPR certified
- Safe driver with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving children
- Fluent English required
- Additional language skills are a plus
- Comfortable working with parents who work from home
- Comfortable with two large dogs and two cats
- Calm, patient, dependable, and flexible
- Able to confidently manage an energetic toddler and infant simultaneously
The children attend full-time daycare, making this an excellent opportunity for a nanny who enjoys focused, hands-on time with children during evenings and weekends. The family is seeking someone who can be a trusted, consistent presence in their children's lives.
