Job Description: River Forest family seeking an experienced Nanny for a 2-year-old. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term position with a loving family. Start as soon as possible.
Schedule: Guaranteed 20 hours, Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-5:00pm.
Compensation: $28-$30/hour + vacation, holidays, sick days.

Job Details and Responsibilities:
- 2-year-old child: will be in part time Preschool, 3 days a week.
- Nanny should be knowledgeable of fun and appropriate games and comfortable facilitating learning and play activities.
- Responsibilities include all care of the child: reading, preparing healthy meals and snacks, monitoring quiet time, taking to school and other activities, etc.
- Light housekeeping will be needed such as child’s laundry, child's dishes, tidying child’s bedroom and common areas, picking up toys, etc. Nanny will also be able to pick up groceries and run errands when child is in school.
- Both parents work from home in separate spaces. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
- Family has one cat. No care is required but Nanny should be comfortable around pets.
- Nanny should have extensive, verifiable nannying and infant care experience.
- Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with a family.
- Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the child and the family.
- Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs.
- Reliable and communicative.
- Driving is required for the role. Nanny should have a safe driving record.
- COVID, and flu vaccines required.
