Job Description: Oak Brook family seeking a dependable and experienced House Manager. Start as soon as possible.
Compensation: $25-$40/hr. (depending on experience) + vacation, holidays, and PTO.
Schedule: Guaranteed 24 hours a week. 7:00am-3:00pm, 3 days a week. Family is able to add more hours if needed.

Job Details and Responsibilities:
- House Manager responsibilities include:
- General household chores such as vacuuming, dusting, loading/emptying the dishwasher, cleaning bathrooms, making beds etc.
- Family laundry and ironing, putting away the laundry, organizing closets and dressers.
- General organization of the home (closets, pantry, mudroom, etc.).
- Creating shopping lists for groceries and supplies needed each week.
- Running errands (groceries, dry-cleaning, etc.).
- Three children – ages, 7, 7, and 1. The oldest children are in full-day school.
- Childcare responsibilities will include:
- Assist with morning activities/prepare the children to go to school.
- Prepare healthy breakfasts and snacks for children and pack lunches for school.
- Assist with other childcare tasks based on needs.
- Grandparents handle the main childcare responsibilities, but House Manager will need to assist for a few hours each week.
- Parents work opposite schedules and one parent will be home for some of the House Managers’ shift.
- Family has one large dog. No care is required but House Manager should like pets and is able to let the dog outside if needed.
- House Manager should be interested in a long-term commitment with the family.
- Should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan and keep track of responsibilities. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Reliable and communicative. Able to communicate well and be receptive to feedback.
- Has long-term experience working with children and is comfortable with a changing schedule and active household.
- Driving is needed for the role. Nanny should have a safe driving record and be able to use their own vehicle when needed.
