Job Details
- Position: Part-Time Nanny
- Location: Logan Square, Chicago, IL
- Schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Flexibility for additional weekend and evening babysitting hours available
- Start Date: July 21st, 2025 (as early as July 1st)
- Compensation: $23–$26/hour, DOE

- Reliable Driver: Must have a safe driving record and the ability to drive their own car for child-related activities
- Comfortable with Pets: Must be comfortable with large dogs and able to let the dog out once per day
- Comfortable with Parents Working from Home: Parents work remotely in a separate office space but may interact with the child during breaks
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: Capable of keeping the child’s spaces clean, organized, and safe
- Cooking Skills: A bonus if nanny has experience with meal prep and cooking.
- Vaccination: Must have Tdap vaccination
- Childcare:
- Primary responsibility for the care, safety, and well-being of a 2.5-year-old child
- Provide age-appropriate learning activities and developmental play
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Drive child to and from activities
- Foster creativity, curiosity, and educational milestones in the child’s development
- Manage child's laundry and assist with cleaning up after meals
- Engage with the child in interactive activities
- Household Support:
- Tidy up after meals, toys, and activities
- Assist with light housekeeping duties such as loading/unloading the dishwasher and organizing children’s spaces
- Ensure the child’s environment is safe, clean, and stimulating
- Engaging, Energetic, and Patient: The nanny must be interactive and able to keep up with a toddler’s energy while providing a nurturing and positive environment
- Flexible: Able to adapt to changing schedules and occasionally stay late or babysit on weekends
- Loving, Kind, and Firm: Able to set appropriate boundaries while being a nurturing presence in the child’s life
- Proactive & Organized: Able to stay on top of childcare-related duties while maintaining an organized and clean environment
