Job Description: West Loop family seeking a kind and experienced Nanny for their 1-year-old! Start date April 2025.
Schedule: One day a week—family can be flexible with the specific day, 8:30am-6:00pm.
Compensation: $28-$32/hour
Job Details and Responsibilities:

One child: 1-year-old.
Primary responsibilities are meal prep, changing diapers, cleaning up toys, coordinating and monitoring naps, taking the child on walks, and providing developmentally appropriate activities.
Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding child development and milestones. Should be able to provide developmentally appropriate activities.
Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing toys, kid laundry, light meal prep (cutting up fruit or vegetables as time allows), running occasional errands, and keeping track of children’s needs.
The ideal candidate could be able to babysit some evenings and weekends with advance notice.

Qualifications:

Nanny should have extensive, verifiable nannying and infant care experience.
Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the child and the family.
Reliable and communicative.
Should be able to carry child up and down flights of stairs in the home.
The Nanny will need to provide their own vehicle. Family will provide parking for Nanny’s car.
TDAP vaccine and CPR certification required.
