Job Description: Lincoln Park family seeking an experienced and high-energy Nanny for a 1-year-old. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term position with a loving family. Start as soon as possible.
Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours, Monday-Friday, start and end times will fall potentially between 7:30am-5:30pm depending on family and candidate needs. These times will be mutually agreed upon. Candidates should be flexible to do overtime hours when needed.
Compensation: $28-$30/hour + vacation, holidays, sick days.

Job Details and Responsibilities:
- 1-year-old child: will be in part time Preschool, 3 days a week.
- Nanny should be knowledgeable of fun and appropriate games and comfortable facilitating learning and play activities.
- Responsibilities include all care of the child: reading, preparing healthy meals and snacks, changing diapers, bathing child when needed, taking to school and other activities, etc.
- Light housekeeping will be needed such as child’s laundry, child's dishes, tidying child’s bedroom and common areas, picking up toys, handling grocery delivery, etc.
- Both parents work from home in a separate space. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
- The family has one small dog. No care is required but Nanny should be comfortable around pets.
- Nanny should be open to traveling with the family 1-2 times per year.
- Nanny should have extensive, verifiable nannying and infant/toddler care experience.
- Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with a family and is open to caring for more children in the future.
- Bilingual would be a plus!
- Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the child and the family.
- Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs (diapers, supplies, groceries, etc.).
- Reliable and communicative. Will arrive on time each day. Will work as a team with the family.
- Driving is required for the role. Nanny should have a safe driving record.
- COVID, and flu vaccines required.
